Missouri Rush "Players in the News"


February 1st marked the annual signing day where high school players were able to make their college commitments final. There were several players from the Rush family that were able to commit to continuing their education as well as their soccer careers. We are proud of the players, parents, and coaches for all their success. We will be looking forward to hearing all of your future success stories. Thanks for being a part of Rush and good luck on your new journey. 

The 2006G Premier - Hellmann team competed in the Lou Fusz Winter Carnival this past weekend. They went undefeated in pool play scoring 13 and giving up 2. They lost in the finals on an unfortunate penalty kick in the last 15 minutes of the game. 









Girls from the 2003 age group traveled to Arizona to Casa Grande Sports complex to attend the Rush Select ID camp. Lydia, Eleena, Lexi, Jess, and Maddie (pictured from left to right). Great job girls and glad you are representing us well.

The 9UG Nero team participated in the first Gateway Rush (affiliate) tournament the past weekend and took home the first place trophy. They went undefeated and scored 21 goals for and only gave up 1. They faced their sister team in semis to advance. Great job girls it is great to see this age group improving week in and week out. Shout out to our affiliate Gateway Rush on their first tournament event. It was great to hear it was a success. 







The 2005G Premier - Wilson team headed to Iowa to play in the Monster Match tournament. They went undefeated and took home the hardware to prove it. Great job girls! 








The 2003G Premier team headed to Memphis for the Wolf River Classic Girls weekend and took home the championship! Way to go girls! 









The 1999G United - Cawvey team attended the Metro East Legacy Fall Classic this past weekend and finished as a finalist. Good work ladies! 










The 2007G Nero team traveled to Overland Park Kansas for the Heartland All Girls tournament. They took first place and proudly posed for this great picture. 
















The 2002G Premier - Frederick team traveled to Sporting Arkansa to play in the Clorox Cup. The girls went 3-1 on the weekend and had 13 goals for and 5 against to win the championship. Excellent work girls!!








The 2001G United team traveled to Champaign, IL for the IL FC Fall Cup this past weekend and played up a year. They went undefeated and took home the championship. Great job girls!!











This past weekend Lou Fusz SC hosted their Midwest Fall Invitational. Missouri Rush saw 1 champion and two finalist. The pictures from this event are posted here. Congrats to U09G Nero (Champions), U11G Premier - Hellmann (finalist), and U13G Premier - Valenti (finalist).

U09G Nero went 4-0 with 14 goals for and 3 against

Emily Burke was selected to participate in the walk out of the professional game at Busch Stadium on Monday where Liverpool took on AS Roma. Emily had a blast and did a good job representing Missouri Rush :)













U13G Select team earns promotion into the top bracket of the Midwest Regional League by taking first place in the Premier II West division this spring. Great job girls. 













The U13G Blanco team participated in President's Cup winning all three games and advanced to the next stage. They will head to regionals next month. Good luck girls hope your season continues! 














U12G Huelsing has been winning a lot this season!

Congratulations to the Missouri Rush Select - Spiess U15B team on winning the Midwest Regional League (MRL) First Division Red this past weekend. They went 6-0-1 and only allowed 1 goal against. Great job boys! 













The MISSOURI RUSH U8 Jett Team pulled out all of the stops last weekend to win the Mother's Day Tournament!! This dynamic team displayed a tremendous effort to bring home a winner. 17 goals for and 0 against. Congratulations girls !! 















The U12B Azul team took home the championship in the Rush Monther's Day Classic. Great job boys! 

















The U08B Dwyer played 6 competitive games in 4 days between league games and the tournament. The final was their 6th game. They were tied at the end of regulation and OT so the game was decided in penalty kicks.

Sunday, our U6 YDA girls playing in the U7 SCCYSA league finished their season with a 4-2 win in a great team effort!  The girls had a blast all season!  Even playing in the U7 division, they finished 2nd in goals scored (27 in 7 games) for the season and 5th overall in a division of 11 teams.


So proud of these girls and their amazing effort. At this age, it's so fun to watch them learn the game and make huge strides in ability.










U10G Azul come away as champions in their trip to Springfield this past weekend in Coca-Cola / Dr. Pepper Cup. Having two shutouts and only giving up 1 goal all weekend. Great work girls! 













U12B Azul finishes as a finalist in the Coca-Cola / Dr. Pepper Cup in Springfield this past weekend. Way to work hard boys! 
















U13G Blanco finalists at the Lou Fusz tourney this weekend. Great work girls! 















MoRush u12 Huesling dominated their side of the bracket this weekend, making it to the final. Finishing 2nd with a score of 0-1. These girls were troopers this weekend after playing slysa games on top of tournament games!








The U15B Azul team traveled to the Lake County Soccer tournament in Springfield this past weekend and made it to the finals. They went 4-1, 2nd game 3-2, in semi- finals 2-1 in overtime only to come up short to a top 5 ranked team in Arkansas. 











The U09G Jansen team is winning again! Great work ladies, keep up the good work. 1st place at the Lou Fusz spring turnament. Second tournament, second first place for this spring. 














Each month US Soccer holds training centers across the country in certain markets to get elite players together to train and participate in small sided games. Once a year they hold regional combines for the best U12-U14 players from each market. They train and play games and are evaluated by national level coaches. In April of this year they held the regional combine in Indiana that saw three players from the Missouri market represented and two of those three players were Missouri Rush players. Kinley Brown and Maci Teater. Congratulations on your recognition. Keep working hard! 
















The U14G SCC Select team participated in the Spring Classic over the weekend and went 3-1-0 and had 7 goals for and 3 agaisnt. Great work girls!  















The U12G Huelsing team traveled to the Midwest Soccer Classic in Terre Haute, IN over the weekend and went 5-1, 6-0, 13-0, and 3-0 to take first place! Great job girls! Looks cold :)















The U08G Jett had a great tournament this past weekend at the Champions Cup in KC in the only U08 bracket. 1st game they won 5-0, 2nd game 2-1, 3rd game 0-0 and then championship game they scored the game winning goal with 8 minutes left and won 1-0. Great work girls! 















The U08B Dwyer team took forst place in their forst out of town tournament this weekend in KC at the Champions Cup. Great job boys! Glad to see their first out of two ntrip was a success. They went 4-0 and had 28 goals for and 3 against. 















U13G Select player Mackenzie Boyle is off to Italy with girls from other Rush clubs. Good luck and safe travels Mackenzie! 


























This weekend at the KC SPorting game players from the U11G Azul team were chosen to carry the FIFA and Fair Play flags before the game. We want to thank coach Valenti for sharing these photos. The girls were all excited and were also shot on the jumbotron. 



This past weekend (April 1st-3rd) it was the girls weekend for Emergald Cup. Missouri Rush sent 5 Rush teams and was represented by three future teams. Rush saw two championships and two finalists. Below are the pictures from the champions.

U09G Jansen playing up a year take champions in the U10 age group. They went 2-0-1 in pool play with 6 goals for and 2 against. They won the final game 3-1 against TSC Hurricane. Great job ladies!













The U13G Select team played in the MRL bracket and went 1-0-2 in pool play with 10 goals for and 5 against. They made it to the finals on goal differential and ended up in PK's against Omaha FC where they outscored their opponent and took the championship. Coached by Cal McKee and Pat McVey















This summer, three players from the Missouri Rush U13 Girls Select team will be attending the Regional II ODP camp in Saginaw Michigan. Kinley Brown, Maddie Connors, and Maci Teater have all received their invitation. This camp is designed to promote development and identification for selection to a regional, national, and/or international event during the 2016/2017 season. The camp is open to all invited Region II players that received an invitation directly from Region II or their State Association.  We want to wish them well and hope they are recognized for their hard work and dedication.
